Dating Etiquette

As much as us girls love going on dates with you handsome devils, sometimes you guys just miss a couple MAJOR details. We are honored to be asked my you, but some things are such deal breakers. So, here are some things that I have come across in my dating life, and I hope you gents will learn from your well-meaning mistakes:

1. Call her and ask her out. Ask her in person or send a message via carrier pigeon--anything but texting!

2. You drive. Go and pick her up. Dont make her do soemthing with YOU and then make her come searching for YOU and spend her gas on YOU. If she asks you out, same rules apply to her.

3.Get your butt out of the car and go to the door and get her. Meet her parents if necessary. Dont honk or call, she is not a drive through prize.

4.Open her doors. Being a gentleman goes such a long way!

5. Make sure your personal hygiene is taken care of. Please!

6. Have a plan before hand. None of this "what do you want to do?" and then drive around for 5 hours. Have a plan A, plan B, and if you are extra motivated, a plan C if everything else fails. Be creative, she will probably like whatever you do. On the other hand, dont over plan and cram 10 things into 2 hours...its exahusting.

7. You pay. If you ask her to go with you, you pay. No matter what. Dont complain about paying. Dont ask to share a plate, it makes her feel like she is not worth 9 extra bucks to you. If she is not, stay home next time and spare her the pain.

8.Dont make the first date 8 hours long. AWKWARD!

9.Take her home at a decent hour. She has things to do and cant afford to stay out until 4 in the morning if there is nothing there.

10. Dont try and show off. Just be yourself. That includes chasing cars, getting into fights, speeding and then getting pulled over, and trash-talking people to make yourself feel more secure.

11. Dont expect a kiss. Especially dont demand one(yes that happened to me)

12. Dont let your date walk home. (Also happened to me)

13. Even if you dont like her that much, like if it was a blind date gone bad, or it just 'isnt there', still be respectful. Word travels fast fella's!!!

14. (For the guys)Girls, SAY THANK YOU! Hopefully he tried his best, and at the least deserves some gratitude.

I can only imagine the horrible dates you girls/guys have been on. Im so sorry. Hopefully we all learn from our mistakes and do better next time! Please do better next time!
